It is not often you meet people that have a profound and positive affect on your life. Nathaniel though is one of those individuals who has helped me to achieve things in my personal, as well as professional life which could have very easily eluded me.

It has been nearly 7 years since I first met Nathaniel (Sensei) and since that day, he has been a constant inspiration for me. He is one of those people who you
can trust and count on, no matter what the time of day or night may be. He is always there to help you in any way that is possible.

How Sensei and his words and personality have positively affected me can only be best described using some examples of my own personal life.

When I started studying at Brunel University, I was pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Through my interaction with Sensei, I started to believe that it did not matter how hard my studies were, as long as I put my mind to it, I could overcome any obstacle in my paths. At times when I doubted myself, Sensei managed to encourage me to persevere, and put every effort into achieving good grades. He is the person who taught me, that I should set myself high standards and ensure that I exceed even those. These are some of the reasons why I can say that I passed my examinations with flying colours and graduated with a First Class Honours degree. Sensei's contribution to this success was vital because he made me believe in myself and that if other peers of mine were capable of achieving such high standards, then why would I fail to do so?

Before I graduated, I had to seek employment as well. The reason why I managed to secure the job that I have today is because companies look for certain soft skills and various other attributes in a candidate that they score you on. These include being confident, resilient and a good team player. The honing of these qualities has been down to Sensei due to which when I was interviewed and put through my paces at the assessment centre, it did not matter if I was speaking to a Manager in the Organisation or a Director because I came across as someone who could carry himself with confidence as per the feedback I received. Now I work for a major Blue Chip Organisation where I am going from strength to strength. I have achieved recognition on more than one occasion for my hard work and dedication, which has culminated in great achievements for both me and my Company.

This level of perseverance and dedication comes from the influence of Sensei whom I can say is a role model for me. He inspires me to achieve my goals, to help others around me and to always influence individuals in a positive manner in the same way that he does.

Fairly recently, I was diagnosed with an illness concerning my eyes and high pressure inside them. It was one that could have lead to me going blind. It took the doctors nearly a year and a half of trying different medications to try and control these pressures, which were at times three times the normal allowed. All through the time that I was waiting to get better, I would ask myself, 'What would Sensei do?' The reply I would get would be, 'Labour on.'
Finally, the doctors operated on both my eyes after having ruled out all other avenues and today I am grateful for their help. The time it took to get here though is paved with staring all the hardships in the eye, but still overcoming them. If today I have 100% of my eye sight, it is due to the fact that my training received from Sensei gave me the ability to pick up symptoms that I had at a very early stage and seek help. If it had not been for Sensei, his motivation and his support, I could not have remained so strong especially when I was required to drag myself in to see the doctors on a frequent basis and try various different medications.

Even though I continue to achieve much in life, it is only the tip of the iceberg as compared with what Sensei achieves. He, for the lack of a better word, is super human it seems. His achievements suggest that he has more hours in the day than I do. However, I know that it is not so. Therefore it can only be attributed to his undying passion, dedication and perseverance for anything that he sets his sights on. He does not believe in faltering half way through anything and he achieves all that he wants to achieve. Knowing him and keeping his company results in some of these qualities to
rub off on you and they have immense positive affects in your own life.

I would just like to conclude by saying Thank You to Sensei for all the positive ways in which he has enriched my life. Thank You

Nathaniel Peat is by far one of the Best motivational speaker’s I have met in my whole life.

He’s got something different to what other motivational speaker’s have and in my opinion he has all the things other speaker’s lack. The “Aspire-Workshop” proved to be very informative and gave tangible ways in how to become successful, it was very inspirational. I had always thought that in life there are many limitations as to what you can and can’t do.

However, Nathaniel Peat’s words of wisdom proved to be very articulate that night. Nathaniel Peat would leave you with inspiration running throughout your mind day and night.
Nathaniel is by far the best motivational-speaker that I have met. He helped me push forward, during my time of revision towards my G.C.S.E examinations and has been proven to be very supportive through continual motivation for me in his daily quotes and blogs.

I hope to go to another workshop of Nathaniel’s in the nearer future. He is a successful icon that I will always look up to for advice.

Thanks to Nathaniel I am making a clear future for myself regardless of the hindrances that face me...

I shall just overcome them in life, whatever the circumstances.

Thank You Nathaniel Peat,

I had the pleasure of first hearing Nathaniel speak a few years ago. What can I say...he is a natural! Very few people have the ability to educate, to inspire and to also relate to people when speaking in pubic. Nathaniel does what he does not only because he is great at it but because it's evident that it's not only his passion but in his heart. - Semhal Zemikael

If you haven't yet heard Nathaniel Peat speak, you must. He seeks to inspire and thats exactly what he does. His genuine manner and passion for The Safety Box is commendable! - Natasha Faith

I first heard Nathaniel speak at Brunel University's Entreprenuer society launch event back in 2008. I remember going through some tough times and lacked motivation to turn things around. Nathaniel’s presentation at the event was so inspirational and I was amazed at how much he managed to achieve in such a short time.  Hearing his story changed my mindset completely and thus I made a decision to proactively pursue my goals regardless of the obstacles. Since then I’ve been involved in a number of projects, most notably I co-founded a social enterprise called NUTMEG which is a youth led organisation and pioneered a personal development project which gained national exposure.

In November 2009 I was invited to be an ambassador for Enterprise UK.

Thanks to Nathaniel I now have a clearer idea of what it takes to be successful and I’m more optimistic about my future. In my opinion, every young person should have the opportunity hear Nathaniel speak!

The day before I first met Nathaniel in person, he was in my room on my desk! Not in his physical form of course, but appearing on The Last Millionaire which I was watching on BBCi Player on my laptop in my room.

So as you can imagine his appearance the very next day at a Brunel Entrepreneurs event was quite a novelty. Indeed it was becoming clear to me why Nathaniel had been selected to go on the show just by his very demeanour. His command of the crowd was very impressive. He quickly focused every one's mind on the task of raising the 10K for a charity and got everyone behind him. When he asked the crowd if anyone had any questions my hand was already up and I asked him what his number was! I was full of ideas. I was sure that I could contribute towards this cause and I had definitely been given the motivation to do so. He duly wrote it up on the white board for everyone to see which touched me as being very human, quite unlike a stereotypical millionaire who might put himself above mere students.

In proposing the enterprise challenge Nathaniel inspired a group of us to believe that we could raise £10,000 in just 16 days for the Kiyan Prince Foundation. The team, 10KtoKPF, frantically pieced their own charity-event-night plan together and formatted it down to pitch size. Within under 70 hours it was presented to a local nightclub by Nathaniel and myself. On the back of an extremely naive and inexperienced concept, Nathaniel was able to steer the negotiations, which resulted in reserving us the venue (subject to conditions) and bought us more time to work before the offer expired.

Unfortunately the wild efforts to hold an event never came to pass, however the experience gained by the team was invaluable and unforgettable. The group won a Brunel Hero award and one of it's members has since embarked on her own enterprise venture called EVOLVE!

Since the enterprising challenge Nathaniel's presence has remained. To be precise I have experienced him giving motivational speeches and conflict management seminars, running plat-forming events at which I gained experience in promoting, networking and interviewing and changing attitudes at youth community events. I have been so motivated by him so much that I even took part a little bit at his karate dojo.

Nathaniel is consistently inspirational to myself and all who know him. For any aspiring entrepreneurs or more generally people who want to change something for the better, (although it may seem daunting) Nathaniel is a great example to compare yourself to.

I will never forget his riddled motto which becomes clearer to me as time goes forward: "Aspire to inspire before you expire."

You only have to look at Nathaniel's great achievements, to be inspired. Amongst his busy schedule, he always has time to say 'hi 'and stop for a moment to have a chat or to encourage. His has a big heart and is not afraid to share what he has inside with others.  His attitude and application to life is empowering.  I have watched and listened to him intrigued by his formula.  He has set his eyes on the prize and worked hard, never limiting himself to one genre, he recognises his gifts and he has continued to be self disciplined and work towards his goals. Who says a great musician can't be a pilot. Who says a pilot can't teach Martial Arts.  It is evident that Nathaniel is truly compassionate and wants others to succeed as he has.  I'm excited for him, as I know he has what it takes can stand up and inspire millions.

I am so honoured to know Nathaniel.
